We believe that this work was intended for men which are not on farms. 3. Several farmers now working we believe can make their living without this work. 4. We do not believe the intention of the officials at Washington, D. C., was to give this kind of work to any- one unless he really needed it. 5. Our food must all be bought in stores, whereas the farmers raise most all of theirs, and have very little to buy in order to live. 6. Most of us are married men with families and must have work or get relief. 1. Most farmers received wheat al- lotment money and will receive money for hogs raised in the past, whereas we do not get any of it. We want to be put back to work or a satisfactory statement published in the Bismarck Tribune, showing why we should be laid off in preference to many farmers who are now working and who do not need to work and can make their living farming.
