The Greek letter is DELTA. | AT THE MOVIES | ‘Breach of Promise’ Sensational Drama ‘With Chester Morris and Mae Clarke heading a truly stellar cast, the able direction of Paul Stein plus the clever story of Rupert Hughes, it is not surprising to find “Breach of Promise,” the new World Wide picture now at the Capitol Theatre, @ screen production that stands head and shoulders over the average run of film fare. Paul Stein, the director, deftly guides his characters through a most interesting plot, which we venture to state, will not be outguessed by any spectator. Not that “Breach of Promise” has any trick surprises but that it follows real life “more than it does accepted movie story tech- nique. Chester Morris offers an entirely new type of character for him, thus proving that this capable young actor is not going to let him- self be “typed.” He is seen as a young lawyer with political ambi- tions who is nearly ruined through @ chain of circumstances beyond his control. “Breach of Promise” is an enter- taining story showing what little chance the average man has when a woman deliberately sets out to “get him.” An increase of 99 airports over July, 1932, was reported by the Department of Commerce for July, 1933; the total number of airports in the United States is now placed at 2136, with 631 of them being partially or totally lighted for night use.
