Taylor, Jr., U.S. N., Weds | Miss Ruth Florence Elliott of Philadelphia Couple Will Visit in Bismarck Next Week With Bride- groom’s Parents Lieutenant and Mrs. Edwin James ‘Taylor, Jr., whose miarriage took place June 28 at the bride's home in Phila- delphia, Pa., are expected to arrive in Bismarck about July 7 for a visit with Lieutenant Taylor's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Taylor, 11 Sixth 8t., be- fore going to San Pedro, Calif, where Lieutenant Taylor is stationed aboard the U. 8. 8. Trenton. The bride was Miss Ruth Florence Elliott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Elliott of Philadelphia. Her wedding took place on the 35th wed- e ding anniversary of her parents. Dr. M. Fashioned: with the dropped neckline, short bodice and high waist- line characteristic of the Eugenie and Josephine period, the gown fell in soft folds to the floor and was embellish- ed with narrow bands of hand em- broidery. Completing her costume, the bride wore a veil‘of creamy tulle adapted from a. model of the Empire era, to match the color which age had given to the dress, The veil was fastened with a garland of Sweetheart roses in|marck Pale ivory and pink. The bridal bou- quet was of rosebuds, finished with a lace frill in Colonial fashion, Miss Geneva Ethel Elliott, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore a gown of pale blue organza with an all-over design of tiny pink rosebuds, and coral-colored slippers.
