‘ | SCOUTS WILL STAGE JAMBOREE TUESDAY Full Program For Afternoon and Evening Announced By Executive Bismarck’s nine Boy Scout troops ‘will compete against each other in a local scout jamboree to be held at Pioneer Park the afternoon and eve- ning of Memorial Day. The program will begin at 1 o'clock, with the boys assembling at scout headquarters in the city auditorium, it is announced by W. G. Fulton, lo- cal scout executive. The scouts will have all their contest equipment and food for supper, as well as enough food for three visitors. Knot tying, T. Johansen; scout pace, Dr. R. F. Krause; broken bones, Dr. J. O, Arnson or Dr. H. A. Brandes; Morse sending, Richard Schmidt; semaphore sending, Charles Liessman; archery, Robert Ritterbush; stretcher race, Robert Byrne and Henry Groves; knot tying, John Karasiewicz; fire by friction, C. W. Leifur; knot tying, T. Johansen; bugling, Curtis Dirlam; bandaging, Dr. or Brandes; Morse receiving, Richard Schmidt; semaphore receiving, Liess- man; ax throwing, Leifur; string burning, Byrne and Groves; and flint and steel, Rev. Father Henry Holle- man. Other events on the program in- clude concert by scout band at 3:30; mass contests at 4; games and relay races at 4:30; supper at 5:30; con- cert by band at 7; and troop pro- grams at 7:30. A court of honor is scheduled for 8 o'clock, under charge of the court of honor committee, which includes Dr. George S. Constans, W. H. Payne, F. H. Waldo, Dr. Arnson and J. N. Ro- herty. THE BISMARCK TRIBUNE, FRIDAY, MAY 26, 1933 ALLEGED WOULD-BE ROBBER ARRESTED Raymond Dant to Face Court! on Charge of Carrying Concealed Weapons Raymond Dant, alias Frank Snyder and Roy Roberts, former inmate of the state training school, was to face charges in Burleigh county dis- trict court Friday afternoon grow- ing out of his alleged attempt to rob a local filling station, according to Police Chief C. J. Martineson. The chief said Dant declared he would plead guilty to a charge of carrying concealed weapons. Dant was arrested last Friday night by two city policemen as he approached the Lomas Oil company Formal inspection of the troops at 2 o'clock will follow a parade through the streets of Bismarck, headed by the Boy Scout band. Individual contests, with a scout- master in direct charge of each, will begin at 2:30 o'clock at the park.
