Breien Farmer, Among Oldest in State, Dies John Sjoquist, one of the oldest men in North Dakota, died at his farm home eight miles northwest of Breien Thursday morning. He was 97 years old. Death was caused by infirmity. Sjoquist, who had lived in Morton county since 1904, had been married 61 years. He leaves his 88-year-old widow, five sons, Sx daughters, 14) W grandchildren and one great grand- child. He was born in Sweden Nov. 9, 1835.
