Placed in Finney Window By Everett Barta Everett Barta, Kintrye lad attending Bismarck high school, Friday placed on display in a window of Finney’s drug store a Napoleonic coach which required 300 hours to build. Everett, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Barta, makes his home with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cunningham, 813 Eighth St., during the school year. A year ago he was intrigued by the annual junior craftsmanship contest sponsored by the Fisher Body cor- poration and entered his name as contestant. The Capital Chevrolet company sponsored his entry and obtained for him a kit containing the numerous materials needed in making the coach, prepared for distribution by the Fish- er corporation. The usual cost of the kit is $15 but, through sponsorship by the local firm, Everett obtained it free. ‘With instructions, sketches and a Picture before him, young Barta set to work. Much of his time in the high school manual training class was giv- en over to the work and he also la- bored in his spare time at home.
