D., Aug. 24.—Mrs. Rose Siegele, 49, a resident of Sheri- dan county since 1904, passed away at the Jacob Wolf home near Lin- coln Valley Sunday morning, after an illness of three weeks. Death was caused by cancer. Mrs. Siegele had been in poor health for some time. Mrs. Siegele was born in Germany. She became the wife of the late E. G. Siegele in 1904. Her husband was killed in an auto accident while vis- iting in Germany a few years ago. Mr. Siegele had served as sheriff of Sheridan county for two terms. Mrs. Siegele leaves two brothers and two sisters residing in Germany. Funeral services will be held Tues- day afternoon and interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery in Schiller township.
