D., Aug. 8. —A final budget adopted by the Devils Lake city commission sets the city taxes for the fiscal year 1933 at $63, 054, a reduction of $25,471 over the 1932 assessment. Operating expenses in the budget was the largest saving, $36,600 being expended last year while this year} $28,970 will be spent. The reduction is due to the city having approximate- ly $19,000 on hand which will be used to defray operating expenses this year.
