DEBT BLANE |Nonpartisan Congressional Candidate Quotes Figures to Grafton Crowd Grafton, N. D., June 16.—(?)—Re- san League is responsible for the in- crease in the state bonded indebted- ness, William Lemke, Fargo, League candidate for in, declared ‘Thursday night that “while the I. V. A. credits the League with all of the lia- bilities, they fail to credit it with the assets.” He said the League industrial pro- fram has saved the people of the State approximately $100,000,000 more than the cost has been to them. He called attention that when the League came into power the bonded, indebtedness was about $400,000, and rose to the present figure of $41,000,-; 000, but he placed a share of the re- sponsibility for the increase on I. V. A. administrations. “During the Frazier administration less than $10,000,000 of bonds were sold,” Lemke said, “and of these Gov- ernor Nestos temporarily cancelled six million and then re-issued them, so the I. V. A. must share responsibility with the issuance of some 38 millions ‘of bonds because they have either con- trolled one or both branches of the legislature ever since the Frazier ad- ministration and they have occupied HIS HEALTH IMPROVED 40% | After Use of Kellogg's ALL-BRAN If you are constipated, read this letter which Mr. Murray had at- tested by Notary Public: “Two months ago I commenced using Kellogg’s ALL-BRAN to re- lieve constipation.« I am in better health today than I have been in Years, due to the use of your won- derful bran. My bowels move regu- larly, and my general health has im- Peet 40%.” — Se Sir Murray, 88 K Street, South ston, Mass. arene tests show ALL-BRAN brings two things needed to correct common constipation: “Bulk” to ex- ercise the intestines; Vitamin B to help tone the intestinal tract. ALL- he also furnishes iron for the ood, The “bulk” in Att-BRAN is sim- jlar to that of lettuce. Inside the body, it forms a soft mass. Gently at clears the intestines of wastes. How much better to use ALL- Bran ‘than to abuse your system with pills and drugs—often harmful. Two tablespoonfuls daily will ‘overcome most types of constipa- tion — in serious cases, with every meal. If your intestinal trouble is not relieved this way, see your doctor. The $38,000,- 000 of bonds issued to make real es- tate loans have served as a means of reducing interest rates to farmers by millions of dollars. The state hail in- surance department has saved the People at least 35 million dollars in'the difference in premiums that they would otherwise have to pay for the same grey and has accumulated a e surplus.” Leake also called attention to the state bonding of public officials, state fire insurance on public buildings, which he said saved the state about 35 million. “All of these institutions the I. V. A, has repeatedly denounced,” Lemke stated, “and yet they boast of making large dividends with the facilities pro- vided by the Bank of North Dakota, and while they have been in control of these state institutions during the past 10 years they have not dared to SPOHN'S 518 Ninth Phone 626 _ Pure Lard Swift's, 2 Ibs. ..
