Ole Olson of Wilton was here Sat- urday afternoon looking after busi- ness affairs. The Baldwin school enjoyed a picnic in the woods near the river Friday. Farm women report the loss of a number of little chickens and other small poultry during the recent snow storm. Several inches of snow fell here Wednesday night and further east there was considerably more. Tender garden plants also were killed by the frost, but no noticeable dam- age was done to farm crops and the rain was badly needed. John Nordstrom of Regan was here Thursday. Galen Argast gave the class poem, Eldon Nichols gave the advice to juniors and Gladys Moffit gave the response to the junior advice, and Howard Slater read the class will.
