Mrs. John Reff, 102 Sixteenth St., ‘SOCIETY NEWS spring| Thursday from Mr. and Mrs. Falconer Back from Winter Visit Mr, and Mrs. William \A. Falconer, 202 Avenue E, returned to Bismarck Fort Leavenworth. Kan., where they spent the last three and one-half months with their son- in-law and daughter, Captain and Mrs. R. A. Day. Captain Day is sta- tioned with the air corps at Fort Leavenworth. During the winter, which was espe- cially mild there this year, Mr. and Mrs. Falconer made a number o% week-end trips to visit relatives and friends in Kansas and other nearby states. Among some. of the points visited .were Kansas City and St. Jo- seph, Mo., Topeka and Atchison, Kan., and Ames, Grinnell and Des Moines, Towa. Boise Back from Golden Wedding Fete Charles G. Bolse, registrar of the U. 8. land office here, got back this week from Roseburg, Ore., where he attended a celebration marking the golden wedding anniversary of his only brother, W. E. Boise and his wife, former residents of Jamestown and Hope, N. D. Mr. Boise, accompanied by Mrs. Boise and their daughter, Mrs. B. L. Bertel, Fargo, also made an exten- sive tour of the southwest states. Mrs. Boise, now visiting her daughters, Mrs, Charles L. Loomis and Miss Genevieve Boise in St. Paul, is ex- pected to return to Bismarck the first of next week. All the children of Mr. and Mrs. ‘W. E. Boise were present for their anniversary, one of them, Charles W. with his wife and family. Their other ** & |Bolse, coming from London, England, i entertained the members of the Little Flower missionary group at her home Thursday evening. Bridge was play- ed at two tables with prizes going to Mrs. Harold Kenney and Mrs. M. O. Arman. * ee A miscellaneous shower was given Wednesday evening for Mrs. Russell Belknap (Frances Hanson), when a group of eight friends gathered at her home in the Lasken apartments, The party, arranged by Misses Celia Shepard and Thelma Duncan, was a surprise.
