Friends here will be sorry to learn of the death, from pneumonia, of Mrs. Fred Briggs, a former resident of the Braddock community and well known here. She died in Sioux City, Towa. Mr. and Mrs. Briggs moved back to their former home several years ago. Besides her husband, Mrs. Briggs leaves her father and a daugh- ter, Mrs, Millle Shepherd of Bismarck, and two brothers and a sister near Sioux City.
