THE BISMARCK TRIBUNE, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1931 “Gosh! Wouldn't you be worried if an oculist told you you were nearsighted!” Summer Sessions of Normal Schools Cut Summer sessions in North Dakota teachers’ colleges and normal schools during 1932 will be cut to six weeks, instead of 12 weeks. ~ Heads of the schools were notified by the board of administration Mon- day that this action has been taken by the board and to arrange their summer curriculum acordingly. The summer session in the teachers, colleges previously has been divid into two six-week terms. Under the board’s action one of the six-week semesters is eliminated. Action of the board was unanimous. Members said it was taken to conform with a policy of economy and that it would effect a substantial saving. The board’s ruling does not affect the state agricultural college or the University of North Dakota where| only six-week summer sessions have been held.
