y pang aoe rere — THE BISMARCK TRIBUNE, TUESDAY, JULY 28, 1931 NAPOLEON RESIDENT DIES FROM EFFECTS OF KICK BY HORSE Wendelin Kraft Succumbs in Local Hospital 13 Hours After Accident Fatally injured Monday morning ‘when kicked by a frightened horse, ‘Wendelin Kraft, 49, Napoleon, died at ® local hospital 13 hours later. } Death resulted from internal in- Guries. Kraft was driving a team on his farm near Napoleon, when the horses suddenly took fright, breaking away trom the wagon and dragging him to the ground. He was injured when one of the horses kicked him in the abdomen. He was brought to Bismarck at three p. m., and died at 12:30 p. m, Besides his widow he leaves nine children. Montgomery's screen debut was made only two years ago and his ascension to starring rank was one of the most sensational rises in the history of the talkies. Wood, who Sponsored Montgomery's initial ven- ture, is known as Hollywood's fore- most “starmaker,” having introduced many young players, including Buddy Rogers, John Mack Brown, Anita Page and many others, Charlotte Greenwood heads the supporting cast in the new Metro- Goldwyn-Mayer picture. Others fea- tured are Irene Purcell, C. Aubrey Smith, Beryl Mercer, Reginald Owen and Alan Mowbray. | CAPITOL THEATRE Marion Davies’ new starring film, “It's a Wise Child,” which will open tomorrow at the Capitol theatre, is said to be the most mirth-provoking picture of this popular comedienne’s career. “It's a Wise Child” was purchased for Miss Davies’ use because film executives believed that this long-run Broadway stage hit would provide the screen star with an ideal vehicle. After the purchase of the stage play, Laurence E.
