- {SOCET - Miss Beatrice Olson Driscoll, Is Bride of J. Nakken, Minneapolis Miss Beatrice Genevieve Olson, Minneapolis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Olson, Driscoll, became the bride of John 8. Nakken at a ceremony read at four o'clock, on the afternoon of Thanksgiving day at St. Olof Lutheran church, Minneapolis. ‘The Rev. O. H. Sletten, pastor, offi- ciated at the service which was at- tended by a number of friends and relatives. The bridal gown of eggshell satin and white chiffon velvet, was fash- joned along princess lines. It was made with sleeveless bodice and floor length skirt. Matching accessories were long eggshell gloves and moire qslippers and she wore the bride- groom's gifts,a pearl and crystal necklace and crystal bracelet. Her tulle veil was arranged in cap shape and held in place with pearls in a lovers’ knot at the back. Pale pink roses and white sweet peas formed her bouquet. Miss Clara Selberg, as maid of honor, wore an ankle length gown of turquoise blue satin. Her crystal necklace was a gift from the bride and her flowers were a corsage of roses and sweet peas. Athel R. ‘Young was best man. Other attend- ents were the Misses Betty Cruise and Evelyn Schrader and Arnold A. Nakken, brother of the bridegroom, and Edward Percival. Following the church ceremony a y seven-course dinner was served at the Curtis hotel to members of the wedding party. Mrs. Nakken attended the Driscoll schools and is a graduate of the Da- kota Business college, Fargo. For the last three years she has been em- ployed in the offices of the Universal Distributing company, Minneapolis. The bridegroom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Nakken, Thief River Falls, Minn., is @ graduate of the School of Agriculture, Crookston, Minn. and manager of the Waters Gender Toasting company, Minneapolis. - NEWS Miss Lila Roth and Donald McLean Wed Miss Lila Roth, daughter of Mr. and \Mrs. L. B. Roth, Sterling, and Don- ald W. McLean, son of Mr. and Mrs, Hector McLean, Menoken, were mar- ried at a service read Monday eve- ning at the home of Rev. Floyd E. Logee, pastor of the Presbyterian church, who officiated. The bride was dressed in a frock of midnight blue canton crepe, with accessories to . A wedding cake centered the-| table and appointments were in pink and white. ‘The bride is a graduate of the Sterling high school, Mr, McLean is engaged in farming near Menoken, where the couple will reside. xe * High School Faculty Is Entertained at Dinner Students in the home economics Class of the Bismarck high school en- tertained the faculty women and members of the school board at a 6:30 dinner last evening. The din- ner was served in the home econo- mics room at the school, under the direction of Miss Margery Morris, in- structor. H. O. Saxvik, city superin- tendent, and W. H.
