Mr. and Mrs. Rousu left the same morning for Lead, S. D,, to visit with Mrs. Rousu’s sister, Mrs. Arvo Katka and husband. The -Braddock oodman circle met at the home of Mrs. O. R. Mar- tini Thursday evening with 15 mem- bers in attendance. Miss Isabel Kinney was reported to be the only member who had perfect attendance for the past six months. Miss Violet Dexter was elected to act as assis- tant attendant in the place of Mrs. Mary Shepard, who has moved to Michigan, N. D. Master Emmet McCusker of Haz- elton visited last week with Dale and Howard Barton. Carl A. Hansen of Wishek has ea! spending several days in Brad- lock. L. V. Lesher, rural mail carrier No. 3, is taking his vacation now, and ¥. E. Martini cting as his sub- stitute, Emil Sueltz of Groton, S. Lesher received a telegram Saturday morning containing the news of the death of Mrs. Lesher’s mother, Mrs. John Munn, on Friday at her home at Seaforth, Minn. Mrs, Lesher was with her mother at the time of her death. She has the sympathy of her many friends at Braddock. Mr. and Mrs. C. Y. Barton and Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Savage took in the Chautauqua at Kintyre Sunday af- ternoon. Miss Evelyn Martinson, who has been a guest at the O. R. Rally Is Staged By Grain Market Minneapolis, June 26—(#)—The grain market rallied today, sending the price of July wheat up to 92%c from s closing price Wednesday of 89%c. July wheat sagged to the low- est price in 16 years yesterday, sell- ing at 88. September. wheat, which closed Wednesday at 92%c, sold up today to 95%c. The September low yesterday was 9c. The rally was due to a better ex- port demand, better tone in cables, and to reports of heat and hail dam- age to the northwest crop. Better Livestock Prices Predicted Washington, June 26—(P)—C. B. Denman, farm hand member for live- stock, in a statement today predicted more table es for beef. Denman Said he felt reductions in the price of dressed beef would lead to the disposal of a temporary sur- , and an ensuing price stabiliza- tion.
