Northwest Rains End Forest Fires and Aid Advancement of Crop St. Paul, April 30.—(#)—Rains general throughout the northwest Tuesday night and today. Farmers were elated over the pre- cipitation which Hey said was a great help to pastures and grains. Grover M. Conzet, state forester, said the rains were a relief to forest rangers in northern Minnesota, where forests and underbrush were dried considerably from lack of moisture.
