NEW ENGLAND GIRL BRIDE WARDENS SON Happy Thanksgiving Day Wed- | ding Is Held at Residence of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Turner Guy Millard Turner, of Dickinson, son of Warden and Mrs. C. ©. Tur- | ner, of the state prison, and Nora, Viola Hillstad, daughter of Mr. and , Lols Mrs. J. E. Hillstad, of New England, were married at the Warden's resi- dence at noon Thanksgiving day. The day also was Mr. Turner's birthday. Rev. Walter E. Vater officiated and the ceremony was held under an im- provised arch of lilies, fern and cut flowers. Teachers Spending Holidays at Homes A number of teachers in the Bis- marck schools have gone to their homes for the short ving va- cation, and many others are spend- ing the holiday in the city. Miss Mildred Hoff, English teacher in the high school, and Miss Myrtle Sandie, Latin teacher, are spending the holidays in Moorhead. Other high school teachers who have gone away over Thanksgiving are Miss Cecelia Champeau, French instructor, to her home at Red Lake Falls, Minn.; Miss Howard, physical education teacher, to Wadena, Minn.; and Ar- nold Van Wyk, chemistry teacher, to Lake Falls. Miss Grace Hand, principal of the Roosevelt school, motored to Valley City to spend the vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Hand. She was accompanied by Miss Irene Ramsiand, also of the Roosevelt hool, who. with Miss Alice Angus, are the holiday at the Angus home in Hannaford.
