Kuntz. se 8 Homemakers Club to Present 3 Act Play | oe, ' “Practice for the three-act play, “The Colonel's Maid,” to be given the latter part of the month by the Hay Creek Homemaker’s club got under way this week, when members of the cast met at the home of Mrs. Harold Breen. Members of the club make up the cast of the play which is being coached by Mrs. J. Gourdette and Mrs, Glen Tupper. The characters include Colonel Rudd and his son Bob (Mrs. Charles Nagel), who live in a bachelor estab- lishment. They are assisted by Ching (Mrs. J. McGarvey), a Chinese cook. Bob has fallen in love with Marjorie (Mrs. Charles McGarvey), who is the daughter of his father's live-long enemy, Colonel Bird (Mrs. 8. Turn- bow). Colonel Rudd and Bob are expecting company, as Bob's aunt, Mrs, Carol, played by Mrs. F. Donald- son, and her daughter Julia, (Mrs. M. M. Glosser), whom Bob's father de- sires him te marry. Complications are introduced when Ned, played by Mrs, H. Breen, appears on the scene, and many amusing situations develop. ‘The date for the entertainment will be announced in the near future. se * Clover Leaf Club Meets Mrs. O. A.
