While crossing the Red Trail Tues- day afternoon a car driven by Mrs: Laura Dance was struck by a Fargo car. Mrs. Dance was thrown through the windshield on to the Fargo car. Mrs. Dance was not injured except for severe bruises about the head. The windshield was broken and back wheels of the car badly damaged. The Fargo car was not damaged. A car which Russell Kramer was driving overturned about six miles north of Arena Wednesday evening when he struck a_ calf that had strayed into the middle of the road. Laverne Guldberg was with him and was pretty badly shaken up. Russell hrown clear of the car and re- ceived an injured shoulder, The car which was owned by Russell is a total wreck. To make matters worse some one stole three good tires, one of which was new, off. the car the next morning before it could be moved from the road. We trust all patrons will read this notice and govern themselves accordingly: “Carriers while on their route shall receive letters with postage stamps affixed, handed them for mailing and when making delivery at any resi- dence shall collect such letters placed on or in the mail box, but they should not delay their deliveries by waiting for such letters. They have lately returned from a three months’ trip to Oregon where they visited with the S. J. Haines family, who _ moved there a few years ago. Hon. Thomas Hall delivered a very fine address on “The City of Wash- ington and Its Advantages,” at the community meeting which was held Monday evening in the high school auditorium. Mr. and Mrs. R.
