| oh “ ‘ ° f ai ‘eed Zugers Return From Boat Trip to Alaska Attorney and Mrs. Alfred Zuger and son Jack returned last evening from a tour of southeastern Alaska. Leaving Seattle on the Pacific steamship Queen, the Zugers took the inside passage trip northward along the tugged Alaskan coast. Stops were made at Ketchikan, Wrangell, Taku glacier, Petersburg, several fishing stations, to the territorial capital, Ju- neau, and as far north as Skagway. Here they left the ship for a time and, taking the White Pass & Yukon railroad; went to Lake Bennett. The route is along canyons and gulches made famous in the “gold rush” days. From Lake Bennett they went to the old Russian capital, Sitka, and trav- eled by train and bus to Juneau, where they embarked for Seattle. The Pacific fleet was anchored at Seattle during the Zugers’ stay there, and they visited the U. 8. 8. Idaho, as well as one of the Japanese cruisers then in the harbor. Mr. and Mrs. Zuger and Jack also stopped at Butte, Mont., on the re- turn trip. * * A special feature of the Bismarck Flower show Friday evening and Saturday, August 16 and 17, at the; City National Bank building, will be the table decorations competition. A large number of entries for this event are anticipated, as all women of Bismarck and vicinity may take part, and card tables will be fur- nished by the show committee. O. Agre were gathered to- gether for the first time in cight years when a family reunion was held \yesterday at the Agre home at 515 Seventh street. Covers were placed for 18 at a luncheon given at 1 o'clock by Mrs. Agre. Sweet peas were used in the appointments. The afternoon was spent in picnick- ing at Sunny.
