EMCH John Zeller, south of town, had the misfortune to lose his barn, 25 loads of hay, header box and new wagon, by fire Monday noon. Several were also burbed. Cause of the fire is not known. Everything was a total loss—no insurance. Frank Jueth and Martin Teker made a business trip to Bismarck Monday. R. W. Wrucke and J. H. Emch were in Bismarck Wednesday. W. A. Hart of Carson was trans- acting business in Leith Friday. Mrs. H. W. Johnson and sister, Miss Emma Keller, served a delicious lunch after the session. Mrs. E. Anhorn and Miss McCurdy of Dickinson, who is employed at the court house in Carson, attended R. for the boys. Soren Hauge is slowly recovering from a badly sprained ankle which he incurred when coming down the Stairs at the restaurant.
