A school meeting was held Tuesday in Trygg school No, 1 where the offi- cers met and elected the teachers. Carl Muth and Frances. Larson were married Wednesday in Bismarck. “A wedding supper was served at night at his sister's home, Mrs. Lawrence Madiand. Mrs. Muth has been em- ployed here at Bill and Lawrence Madland’s. Mr. Muth resides on the C. O. Keel farm, in Trygg township, which he rented. Friends met to charivari them Wednesday night. Mrs. Muth’s former home is in Moftit. Mrs. Albin Spangberg and Violet were entertained Thursday by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Elmer Lundquist, who entertained the Homemakers club ‘Thursday. Mrs. Bert Faust and son of Kill- deer came Wednesday to her brother's home, Elmer Lundquist, en route to Little Falls, Minn., where she will visit relatives. Joe Jiras is doing the work. John Anderson got completely hailed out on his north quarter. It was a total loss but he had $17 an acre insurance on it. Victor Engdah! hauled some wheat to Regan with his truck last week for Nels Nelson, his father-in-law. M. A. Nelson motored to Regan ‘Tuesday to get two pitmans for the mowers, as they have started haying. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Farrel were visitors a week ago Sunday at the John Glum home. Mrs. Glum is Mrs. Farrell's sister. Emma Trygg, who has becn em- ployed in Bismarck for some time, left Wednesday for Fargo and De- troit Lakes, Minn., where she will spend her vacation. On her return she will visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tryge. ‘A reunion was held last Monday evening at the home of Otto and Alice Swanson, where relatives met. Mr, and Mrs. Kubsback were en route from Sheboygan, Wis., to Minot and Dunseith. Those from here were Mr. ‘and Mrs. Nels Nelson, Victor, Hugo. and Emma, their daughters. The grain ‘was not burnt much when we got a few heavy rains. Between here and Regan they were hailed out some, but no total damage. Nelson received word from Sebeka, Minn., that her cousin, Paul Lidtke, sold his place to his nephew, Emil Lidtke, who was mar- ried recently. Paul came to North Dakota to work during harvest and threshing. From here he will got to Geneseo, Ill., to make his future home with relatives. Mrs. F. C. Tom Jaynes had his face injured jone day last week when he got too close to a pawing horse. A number of junior club members of this vicinity sent animals to the state fair at Fargo last week. Most of the animals were from the Pursian Lake Baby Beef club and are as fol- lows: Henry Halversen 2, Henning Peterson 1, Isabel Kinney 1, Gladys Haibeck 2, and James Maly 1. One of the calves sent was a purebred Shorthorn heifer which is owned by Herbert Repp of the Geneva Dairy club. Some of the members of the Pursian Lake club attended the fair. This vicinity was shocked Friday when Mr. Lange was killed instantly near Minot in an automobile acci- dent. He had made his home in Wil- son for 26 years, He leaves to mourn his death his wife, one son Fred Lange and two daughters, Mrs. John Oshangk and Mrs. Reinhold Berg, of Wilton. Mr. Lange was 63 years of age and was laid to rest in the Wilton cemetery Monday. Miss Anna Wall is working at the Jake Bowmiller home this week.
