PAINT PROTECTION TESTED WITH FIRE Shingles Subjected to Resisting Demonstration at Central Lumber Yard A test of the fire-resisting qualities of the Black Bear roofing paint was made at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the plant of the Central Lumber company, Main avenue at Sixth otreet The test was conducted by W. J. Baehr and J. R. Shannon, sales man- ager of the Northwest Black Bear company. Henry L. It took 49 minutes for the fire to get through to the sheathing and start that burning.
