O. U. W. was celebrated by Bis- marck lodge, No. 120, Thursday eve- ning, with a banquet at the Grand Pacific hotel and a big initiation aft- erward at the hall on Fourth street. The banquet and initiation brought here Bradley C. Marks, of Fargo, grand master workman, who presided at the dinner. Besides the Fargo guest, Governor Shafer was the other speaker of the evening, both as guest and as member of the order. The banquet was attended by 176 members. It was served in the main dining room and during its course there was music by Hazel Johnson’s orchestra. Miss Johnson sang @ se- lection during the program and Mrs. Alma Newton gave some Scotch dia- lect readings. After the dinner, the lodge re- convened in the hall for the initia- tion.
