Mr. Holmes has rented the blacksmith shop and will start work at once. Charles Frazier and son Jack sisted John Holmes in moving things to Wing Monday. Jacob Sattler has planned a tele abroad to visit his old home and rei- atives across the water. He will leave Monday. His old home was near Odessa in Russia. The ‘community was shocked to hear of the death of the infant son of Mx. and Mrs. Arthur Tees at Bis- marck Tuesday evening. The little one had apparently been in good health when it took suddenly ill Tuesday afternoon and was called to the great beyond in just a short time. Heart trouble seemed to be the cause. The little one was about two weeks old and was laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery at Bismarck. Although mere words express but ittle, our sincerest. sympathy is with the parents and relatives in Sorrow. A umber of relatives and friends met urday night at the Nels Nelson home and celebrated. A supper was served and a number of gifts were presented them. They will make their home in Fargo, where Mr. Nel- son will be engaged in construction work, The community congratulates the young couple, Harry Brown and Arthur Resch were guests at the G. F. Nelson home Wednesday night and delivered a car which Guy Summers purchased from Alec Schoemberger before he left for Ellis, Kan, Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Nelson and family and Mrs. A. Kruger arrived home Wednesday night from an eight days’ visit with Mrs. Nelson’s mother, Mrs. Herman Ehrke, in Wa- dena, Minn., a sister, Mrs. Albert Ludke, in Sebeka, Minn., and Mr. Nelson’s_ mother, Mrs. Geo. Potter, in Park Rapids, four brothers, Leon, Barney, Harry, Vernon, and sister, Mabel. They report that Mr. Potter shot a deer while out hunting. Many hunters were killed and wounded, as there were 5.000 hunters, and many deer ‘were shot. The deer season opened Saturday, the 10th.
