FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1928 Social and Personal | Bismarck Court of Catholic Daughters Entertained at Cards Members of the Bismarck court of the Catholic Daughters of America ‘were entertained Wednesday evening by the Mandan court at St. Joseph's auditorium, Mandan. There were 76 Catholic Daughters at the meeting, and the evening was spent with bridge. Mrs. H. S, Rus- sell of Mandan won high score. r the games refreshments were served. St. Mary’s School Has 20 Boarders Bismarck is represented in the boarding school of St. Mary’s acad- emy with three pupils. Other board- ers are from towns north, south and west of here, with one from Outlook, Mont. There are 20 regis- tered as boarders at the school since the opening of this term. Dinner was served at 7 o'clock, with covers laid for 16 guests. Dur- ing the evening several tables of bridge were in play. ‘ Birthday Party for Robert Kling Thirteen little guests were enter- tained at a party Wednesday after- noon on the occasion of Robert Kling’s birthday anniversary. Mrs. J. H. Kling was hostess for her son. The guests were entertained at a delightful afternoon of games for which prizes were awarded to Homer Corwin, Gene Kraft, John Mullin, bt?
