Lac- quered screens, gay porch furniture and baskets of every size and shape tet the stage. The flowers are of the most beau- tiful of numerous varieties. Touched by the glory of the late summer sun, they are richer in color and sturdi- ness than those of earlier in the season. Gladioli seem to lead in quantity. Many of the single blooms are in tall ceful vases, while groups of the lovely “glads” are arranged in baskets with the most artistic pre- cision. i Dahlias, sweet peas, exhibits of annuals and pereny'~’ of a thou- sand different kids and colors, nirs, R.
