PAGE SIX ‘SIOUX MASONS HONOR COWLES Scottish Rite Leader Will Be Initiated Into Indian Na- tion Saturday John H. Cowles, Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite bodies, who visits Bismarck Friday and Saturday, will be initiated into the ancient mysteries of the Sioux nation, Charging Bear of the Sioux, him- self a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, assisted by medicine men, warriors and women of the nation, will have the honors of the Indians bestowed on him at a public cere- mony to be held in the municipal auditorium at 4:30 p. m. Saturday. It will be the only public appear- ance that Mr. Cowles will make during his Bismarck visit. All Masons, their wives and invited * guests will be welcome at this ceremonial. The Lodge of Perfection work will be given in the Blue Lodge room in the Bismarck temple on Friday.
