D., Coming Here in August Bismarck will ring with the Strains of martial music this sum- ‘mer, especially during the month of August, it was indicated today by receipt at Fort Lincoln of informa- tion from the Seventh corps area headquarters that the Fourth Cav- alry band will report here for duty at the local garrison during the Cit- izens Military Training camp. The Fourth Cavalry band is now located at Fort Meade, S.D. It will come here dismounted, accord- ing to the information received here, and will play as an infantry sei during the training camp per- lod, Five hundred young men of North and South Dakota are ex- pected here for the C. M. T. C., twhich will begin August 1 and con- tinue for one month and the fact kthat a military band will be at the fort to play concerts and ~ during drill periods will add much interest to the camp. GOPHER STATE TOWN FLOODED 21 Homes Isolated—Half a Dozen Families Forced to Leave Dwellings Marshall, Minn., March 17.—(AP) +-With a temperature of 18 degress bove during the night, flood waters f the Redwood river, which isolated 1 homes, and forced more than a alf dozen families to leave their lwellings, today receded and left a ield of ice about two feet thick over in area of several square blocks in its wake.
