The 266 pages of the book are divided into 24 chapters and five major parts. The first division is given over to descriptions of the beauty spots of the state which ap- jpealed to Miss Palmer as having peculiar charm or which have come to be recognized as outstanding from a_scienic standpoint. The other divisions relate to parks and park systems and lists the state and na- tional parks as well as those of the ‘various cities, monuments and mem- orials located throughout the state; cold landmarks and North Dakota artists. The volume now being distributed is the first edition, copies of which have been autographed by Miss Palmer, and which are being sent to the 500 persons who placed advance orders for the book before it went to press, The first edition, Miss Pal- mer said, numbers only 600 volumes but more will be printed if the de- mand for the work justifies, The Crusaders of the Presbyterian church will give a costume party at the church parlors Tuesday evening.
