Smith, passenger traffic manager of the Northern Pacific railway, at the general offices in St. Paul. Readers of the great novel will recall the sensational —- of Ed- mond Dantes from the Chateau D'if; how, after twenty years im- prisonment, he sews himself in a sack, is thrown into the seas as dead, rips himself free from the bag and makes his way to the island of concealed treasure. As this episode forms one of the most dramatic and thrilling mo- ments of the play, the introduction of underwater photography, show- ing every incident as pictured od Dumas, was first considered a risk because of the danger which lies in the usual methods of such filming. The tremendous popular demand by audiences all ‘over the country for this picture has induced the producers to reissue the film in which John Gilbert, Rene Adorce, Estelle Taylor and other stars scored their first triumphs, and its now being shown at the Capitol @heatre. ELTINGE THEATRE “Honeymoon Hate,” whic’ is the feature at the Eltinge for to and Thursday, has Florence at the head of the cast with Wil Austin furnishing comedy tow His last appecvance at the professor-vii escapades. 9 a Saturday Evening written by Alice M. Wilkinson. Another of the popular Zane Grey stories will be screened at the El- tinge on Friday and Saturday. This one, “Open Range,” described as an action Western with the throttle wide open has Betty Bronson, Lane Chandler and Guy Oliver in the leading role. “Chang,” which comes to the El- tinge for Monday and Tuesda: an outstanding picture o* the year or of all time. Photographed in the jungles of Siam, it is a vivid and thrilling conception of man’s fight for life. Two men risked their lives to get this great picture and the spectator is forced to agree that the escapes were plenty. One of the most thrilling incidents is a mighty eleppant stampede which destroyed a native village.
