PAGE TWELVE CONCERT WILL BE GIVEN BY SENIOR BAND First of Seifts of Free Musical Programs For Winter Announced Bismarck’s Senior Juvenile band will give the first of a series of free concerts at 8 P. M, Friday in the city auditorium, it was announced today by S. P. Orwoll, director. Winter concerts by the band are novel, the free concerts having been hitherto given during the summer months. The impossibility of maintaining a full roster of the musicians dur-], ing the vacation period with a re- sultant hardship in holding the band together were the reasons ad- vanced byMr. Orwoll for the change to a winter schedule of programs. Ford Will Step Up Production at Once Detroit, Dec. 1.—(AP)—The Ford Motor company, which has been technically “out of production” for some months, plans to step up pro- duction immediately, Edsel B. Ford, president of the company, indicated today in discussing the new model which formally will be shown to the public tomorrow. Prices for the new model were announced by the company last night and show a schedule ranging from $385 far the roadster to $570 for the “Fordor” secan. The figures represented an increase of $10 to $35 over the old model. Production now is averaging from 65 to 70 cars a day, Edsel Ford de- clared.
