THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 1927 Reception Honors Pioneer Residents of This Community Mrs. Lucinda Logan and Mrs. E. L. Faurice received guests Wednes- day evening from 8 o'clock to 11 at the Logan home in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of their ‘ival in Bismarck to make their homes. The reception rooms were beauti- fully decorated with bouquets « of yellow chrysanthemums. During the evening a musical program of Irish . and old-time songs was furnished by Mrs, J. P. Regan accompanied by Miss Frances Phelan, Frank Or- chard accompanied by Mrs, Orchard, and Emmett Griffin accompanied by Mrs. Hermann Scheffer. In the dining room the table was uniquely decorated with a center- piecegmade up of a tiny covered ‘wagon and a miniature train, re- calling the mode of travel by which the guest: of honor came to this city.
