FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 1927 Mmes. Pearcy and Slattery Entertain Missionary Society Mrs. J. F. Pearcy and Mrs. Dan Slattery were hostesses Thursday 2vening to the members of St. An- thony missionary society at the Pearcy home. Bridge was played at seven tables, and honors were held by Miss Eliza- oeth Pfeifer and Mrs. Birlea Ward. Asters and roses were used to decorate the rooms and tables. The hostesses served a course luncheon at the close of the evening. Out-of-Town Guest Is Honoree at Cards Mrs. Louis Tellner of Chicago was the honoree Thursday afternoon when Mrs. E. T. Beatt and Mrs. George E, Smith entertained at bridge. Cards were played at three tables, Mrs. H. E. Hanson and Mrs. Gerald Richholt were awarded prizes for the winning scores, while Mrs. Tell- ner was presented with a guest fa- vor. Rainbow colors were carried out in an attractive decoration scheme tor the table appointments. Bouquets of asters in varied colors were used as centerpieces for the tables while the course lunchen was served at the conclusion of the games. ATTEND STEELE FAIR County Agent A. R.
