D., Aug. 25.—(Special to the Tribune)—Many prizes are being offered for livestock exhibits at the Logan-McIntosh county fair the premium book, issued this week by the fair association, shows, Prizes for cattle are to be given for the best Shorthorn, Hereford, For the best bull two years and over a first prize of $5 will be given. Second prizes of $3 and $1 are to be awarded. The same prizes will be awarded for the best cow two years or over and for the best yearling, male or female. A first prize of $3 will be given for the best boar, one year or over, of any breed. The second prize is $2 and the third prize $1. The best sow, one year or over, any breed, will receive the same prizes. Exhibitors of the best ram of any breed and the best ewe of any breed are also to be given cash prizes. Awards are to be made for the best draft stallion, three years or over; the best draft mare, three years or over; the best mare and_ colt, and the best draft team.
