The man’s name was not_ revealed. Two women and another man, Charles M. Hutchinson, are also held for questioning. Police believe the women may be material witnesses in the slaying. Hutchinson, with a taxi driver, found the bodies. Police admitted they had difficulty in finding definite clues to the slay- sngs, which were characterized as “underworld murders.” Jealousy, gang warfare and the possibility that Mrs. Du Bois “talked too much” were other possible motives being investl- gated, Alcohol and near beer were found by police in the women’s home in a store building.
