At the conclusion of the games, Miss Frankie Davis assisted the hostess in serving a refreshment course. Lahr, won the high score in the bridge games, Mrs. Atkinson used bright colored garden flowers as decorations about the rooms. Following the games Mrs. Gordon Cox and Mrs. M.A. Atkinson assisted the hostess in serving a refreshmeng course. Beside Mrs. Gilchrist and Mrs. Wyard, Mrs. E. Regs of Min- o neapolis, who is a st er sister, Mrs. J. Mullin. was an out of the city guest. Annual Picnic Supper The employes of the Bank of North Dakota gave the annual bank picnic Wednesday afternoon at Fort Lincoln. Baseball games, stants, and dancing were the main diversions of the aft- ernoon. At the conclusion of the aft- ernoon a picnic supper was served. Attorney General George Shafer was a guest of honor at the picnic. MOTOR TO INDIANA Mr, and Mrs, J. B. iSayler\ and daughter, Helen, and: Mrs, William Noggle and daughter left today by car for a trip to Indiana and Mich- igan, The Saylers will go to Logans- port, Rensselaer, South ‘Bend, and Knox, Ind. and to points in Michi- gan, Mrs. Noggle and daughter will visit near Fort Wayne arid Kékomo. Indiana is.the home state of the Say- lers and Mrs: Noggle, and they ex- pect to visit there with relatives and friends until the first part of Au- gust. Out of Town Guests Mrs. J. L. Mullin entertained Wed- neaday afternoon in compliment to her sister, Mrs. T. E. Rugg of Minne- Miss Valborg Aasgaard of olis, who is the guest of her sister, Mrs. 'Theodore Greenfield; and Mrs. William Gilchrist of Akron, Ohio, who is visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. George A. Welch. Bridge was played at three tables during the afternoon. Mrs. J. M. Harty won the prize for the high score at cards.~ The guests of honor were presented with dainty guest favors. Following the games, Mrs. Mullin served -a ‘course lunchcon. Hughes has re- turned from a three months’ trip to Europe which she made in company h Mrs. Walter Douglas of Min- neapolis. Mrs. Hughes and Mrs, Douglas motored through France, Bel- gium, and Holland, and also traveled through the devastated areas of France with Miss Anne Morgan, whc elared.
