DANCE LARGELY ATTENDED Several hundred people were in at- tendance last evening at the St. Patrick’s day dance given hy the drill team of Bismarck Lodge, 120, A. 0. U. W.. The tickets were drawn, by Judge A. M. Christianson, four prizes being awarded, The first was to Mrs. F. V. Williamson; second, Mrs. John Lobach; third, Mrs. W. R. Shepard of Mandan and fourth, Mrs. 0. J. Olson of Wilton, Mrs. Olson's award was the hope chest which has been on display for the past few weeks. Music. for the dance was furnished by The S. 8. Madison orchestra. ANNIVERSARY PARTY About one hundred members of the Methodist Ladies Aid — society were entertained Thursday afternoon at a party celebrating the forty- seventh anniversary of the organiza- tion in Bismarck. The affair was in the form of a birthday social, 12 tables being arranged in the dining room, Each represented one month in the year and was decorated ap- propriately for that month. The en- tertainment was in charge of the President “ general aid society. ENTERTAINS | FOR DAUGHTER H. O’May entertained “afternoon with a_ pretty St. Patrick's party complimentary to her daughter, Katherine Viny. There were 12 guests. The afternoon. was spent in playing games after which a refreshment course was served Green and white decorations were used, place cards and favors carry- ing out the St, Patrick’s day motif. STORY HOUR There will be a children’s story hour tomorrow morning at 10:30 at the public library for the students of the first three grades. Mrs. C. W. Ritterbush will tell stories. A num- ber of new books for children will be given out at this time. oe ST. PATRICK’S PARTY The student nurses of the Bismarck hospital entertained last _ evening with a St. Patrick's party.
