Springer, } Eythel Hudges, and Miss Gertrude Fitzgerald entertained Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Convert at the Hughes apartments a¢ a very clever and prettily appointed surprise shower in honor of Miss Celia Hagen, a bride of next week. Decorations were in pink and white. | A miniature bride and groom and a bouquet of sweetheart roses adorned the table. Many entertaining features ‘were carried out during the evening. A large bell in pink and white hung from the center of the room with streamers running to the side li The bride-to-be was requested to ring the beil and was showered with con- fetti, hearts and small packages which were concealed in the bell, containing articles which afforded much amuse- ment.
