Thorberg, 712 Fourth street, was the scene oi an attractively planned luncheon for the Daughters of the American Revo- lution Friday. Mrs. Martha P. Tatem, Miss Madge Runey, Mrs. E. E. Miss Hazel Nielson gave an in- teresting talk on the histofy of North Dakota, “Under Five Flags.” Reports of the national convention were given, Sophomores. Hosts at Clever School Party Friday Night The largest crowd in attendance at a school party for a number of y was the record made by the phomore class when they entertain- ed about 200 members of the school ut un unusual party Friday evening. The guests were in masquerade at- tire, Mary MacLeod and Neil York winning prizes for the best costumes. Games featured the early parc of the evening. A competitive vaudeville contest was staged with organizations anc in- dividuals .of the high school taking part. The:Letterman’s club won iirst place and Art Cayou was second. The remainder of the evening was spent with dancing to music fyrnish- ed by Buell Quain’s orchestra. Re- freshments were served.
