THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 1926 _ Mrs. E. Howard Light'Miss Margaret Welch Complimented at Mrs. L. H. Carufel’s Party In compliment to Mrs. E. Howard Light, who will leave soon for De troit, Mich., to make her home, Mrs. L. H! Carufel entertained three tables of bridge Wednesday afternoon. at C. 8S. Fossum and Mrs. Hen wor honors, Mrs. Light presented with a guest prize. A course luncheon way served al erthe games. Garden flowers adorn- ed the rooms. ‘Miss Mabel Nathan, an October Bride, Honoree at Shower Mrs. B. M. Dunn and Mrs, F, E. Diehl entertained last evening at the home of the latter with a shower in Bigeye to Miss Mabel Nathan, whose marriage to James H, Wiley will take Bi ce October 2. During the evening the guests hem- med towels for the honoree. At in- tervals little Miss- Frances Dunn, representing an express messenger, arrived with packages containing — lovely gifts for the bride-to-be.
