Class of Graduating Nurses at St. Alexius Hospital Entertained The 1926 graduate nurses of the St. Alexius hospital were honor guests at a banquet given at the Grand Pacific hotel by the alumni of the hospital. Covers were marked for 27 guests a tthe tables, prettily dec- orated in silver and coral, the alumni colors, Nut baskets and other appointments were carried out in the same colors. Mrs. L. Pfeffer presided as toast- mistress. Miss Ida McDonnell, su- perintendent of nurses at the hospi- tal, gave an interesting talk, telling of her experiences abroad during and following the world war. Miss Danberger, a graduate nurse, read the 1926 class propheq y. Miss Hilda McDonnell, sister of the su- perintendent, who was leaving the next morning for Philadelphia, was presented with a gift from the alumni in appreciation of her interest in their activities and her services as president during the last two years.
