ne SATURDAY, APRIL 24, 1926 GUILD FROLIC, MUCH ENJOYED BY THE PUBLIC “Fun For All and All For Fun” —Affair Will Be Re- peated ‘Tonight A new and novel opportunity for a good time is'being offered to the peo-| ple of Bismarck tonight by the ladies of the Episcopal church in the dance and frolic being“held at the Patterson hall. The frolic opened last night and although the crowd was small the! affair proved to be one of the jolliest parties given for some time. Nothing that could add to the mer- riment of the affair is missing. Each of the attractively decorated booths features a clever stunt that is both amusing and interesting. Hot dog, pop. ice cream, candy and pop corn booths prevent any visitor from be- ing hungry or thirsty, while two for- tune tellers, one whose method is palmistry and the other who uses cards, reveal the secrets of the future to the curious. A row of clever cartoons, represent- ing the men of the Episcopal church vestry, take the plate of the proverb- ial “nigger babies” in the shooting gallery. There ate many surprises awaiting the fisherman who casts his rod in the specially prepared fish pond. The young ladies of the church are con- ducting a beauty parlor that rivals any professional shop in the quality of service rendered. s Dance Attracts Many _bdwery style, proved to be one of the most popular features of the evening. Archie Oson’s orchestra furnished/ music fot the dancers. The delighted reports of the people in attendance last evening are expect- ed to make forta much larger crowd tonight and the ladies of the parish are planning to take care of a capac- ity attendance. Mrs. C. M. Henry Hollst is general chairm frolic and Mrs. Walter Bl sitant chairman. They are aged by a committee from the par- ish. ——————— ft — Topay | Bisnis ° (Continued from page one.) a fruit grower as the country. pas- This western Pacific coast land is the land of opportunity.
