C., where, as a repre. sentative of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of the peo- ple of North Dakota, she will present the North Dakota stone to the Wash- ington Monument committee. The stone will be the forty-seventh to be placed in the monument. Funds for Purchasing it were raised by the D. A. After roll call, answered with current events, two interesting’ papers were given. Mrs. A. J. Arnot’s topic was “The History of the American Flag,” and Mrs. George Register talked of “The Stor- ies of the Writings of our National Anthems.” “America the Beautiful” was sung by club members.
