Olson entertained at-a pretty bridge party Friday y afternoon at her home on West/ Thi Thayer. Vases of nm carna- tions were placed about the rooms and St. Patrick colors were carried out in the bridge table appcint- ments and the course luncheon served after the games, Four tables played during the afternoon, honors going to Mrs. R. E. Wenzel and Mrs. S. W, Corwin. The hostess was assisted by her daughter, Auverne, Mrs. Alfred Zuger and Mrs. George Mann. Pretty Bridge Party Friday Night at the B. P.W. Club Rooms F. E, McCurdy and Mrs. A. Ss. en entertained jointly Fri- day‘night at an attractively plan- ned bridge party in the Business and Professional Women’s club rooms. Six tables played. St. Patrick decoratioins were used on the bridge tables and the same col- ors were used in the course lunch- eon served after the play. Mrs. red Ohde assisted: the hostesses. Mrs. C, B, Whittey and Mrs. Price Owens’ won ‘honors in the games, Miss Larkin Weds Ralph Wooton of ~ Carrington Friday Miss Gladys Larkin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Larkin of Bis- marck, and Mr. Raloh Wooton, son of Mrs. Veva W. Wooton of Car- rington, N. D., were united in mar- riage Friday afternoon at ‘the Evangelical parsonage, Rev. C. F. Strutz officiating. Miss Nell Lar- kin, and Mr. Russell Larkin, sister and brother of the bride, attended the couple. _ Following the ceremony the wed- ding party was entertained at the home of the bride’s parents at din- ner, Mr. and Mrs. Wooton have left for Carrington where they wil make their home. Those in attendance at the af: are members of a 'ecal club and the dinners are bi-annual affairs, wherein half of the members en- tertain the others. HERE FROM QAKDALE Dennis Morean, prominent ranch- er of the Oakdale district, has been transacting busiesa in the city for the last few days. Mr. Morean is en route visit in the east. CAMPFIRE GIRLS MEET The Wetomaschick Campfire girls held a council fird last eve- ning at the Wachter school. Plans were made for a party to be held next Friday evening. GUESTS HERE Mr. and Mrs, A. Holt of Miles City, Mont.are spending the week in the city, guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Johnsrud. Comes to Bismarck Thursday Mrs. Lillian Lillibridge of Dick- inson, Grand Matron of the Order the Eastern Star for North Da- kota, and supreme deputy for the Order of the Rainbow for Girls, will be in Bismarck next Thursday. The Rainbow Girls will hold a sp cial meeting in the afternoon and the Star in the evening in honor of |: her visit.
