TO GIVE DANCE TO- MORROW i The Business and Professional Wo- men’s Club will hold a dance tomor- row evening at Patterson Hall for the grain dealers who are in town for their annual convention. The Grainmen's Band will furnish the music. All members of the Club and any other young women of the city are invited to attend and a: in pro- viding an enjoyable evening for the convention visitors. WESTMINSTER GUILD MEETS The Westminster Guild held a reg- ular meeting last evening at the honie of Miss Martha Reinecke. Miss Bessie Baldwin gave an interesting resume of the preface and first two chapters of the new book for study, “The Land of the Saddlebags.” Com- munity singing, devotionals led by Miss Helen Brooks, and piano selec- tions by Miss Reinecke, were also on the program. PRESBYTERIAN LADIES TO MEET The Third Division of the Pres- byterian Ladies Aid Society will hold their final meeting at the home of Mrs. Fred Ohde, 618 Sixth Street, at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. F., returned home yesterday from Carrington where they had gone to attend a Canton meeting which proved one of the most suc- cessful ever held there. Large rep- resentations from Devils Lake, Es- mond, and Bismarck were present. The Bismarck Canton, assisted by Devils Lake and Carrington confer- red the P. M. Degree on a class of thirteen candidates. A contract for uniforms was plac- ed with the Lilley Company, and Car- rington members began Hee orders for their uniforms. It is expected that within a very short time Car- igton will have one of the leading tons in the department. Brigadier-General P. G. Harring- ton, commanding the Department of North Dakota, made an address on the meaning of the degree, which was well received. Colonel P. B. Rognlie, commanding the first reg- iment of the department, also spoke. Capt. Klemsrud and Lieut. Trimble of Devils Lake outlined the degree and described the new Odd Fellows home being completed at Devils Lake, and spoke of the Grand Lodge meeting to be held there next June. The Ladies Auxiliary, which also mustered in several candidates, ser- ved a banquet at midnight to the seventy-seven chevaliers seated at the table, RETURNS FROM CALIFORNIA Wallace Lundquist, son of Post- master and Mrs. Oliver Lundquist, has returned from California.
