George Schantz, sceking to aid his brother, so the story ran, seized a chair and struck at Heinz, The latter quit his scuffling with Jacob Schantz and ran after George Schantz who fled out of the hotel and down the street, his speed accelerated by two or three bullets fired at him by Heinz.
