It is a faithful presenta- tion of the days that gave birth to this great country; the days of Paul Revere, of Lexington, Concord, Bunker Hill and'George Washington. And these momentous days and ev- ents are pictured in thrilling scenes that hold the interest from the be- ginning to the end of the picture. “America” is indeed a credit to D. iW. Griffith, the man who immortal- ized the Civil War with “The Birth jof a Nation.” The picture remains at the Eltinge for the rest of the week. AT THE CAPITOIs To be cast in a photoplay full of thrills and many dangers is a good way af~enjoying life, according to Eva Novak who stars with William Fairbanks in “Racing For Life,” which comes to the Capitol Theatre today, Friday and Saturday. “Give me thrills, and then some more thrills,” says Eva, “and there won't be anything in the world to bother me.” ip re aU ee | CITY NEWS 7 St. Alexius Hospital Admitted: Mrs. Julius Deis, Tem- vik: Albert Turk, Woodworth; Mrs. A.
