They give their husbands speckless houses and home cooking—and both are mighty im- portant, I'll admit. A man can hire a woman to keep his house — but it’s the woman he marries that makes it a home. When he comes home he wants his wife to sit on the arm of his chair and tell him what a wonder he is and how if true worth were recognized he’d be the head of the firm this minute. That’s what he wants from his wife—something the best house- keeper could never give.” Pai hee Haar okt In order to follow Aunt Julia’s directions for being the kind of wife men want, you need to be fresh and charming at the end of the day. And certainly you’ll never be tired out from washday labor if you let us attend to your weekly wash. We do good work at fair prices—and the hours we save you will help you to be more than a hopsekeeper. THE CAPITAL LAUNDRY PHONE 684 ‘Send 2 J
